<p>It was in mid-February that we reported that Satoru Iguchi, 29, of King Gnu, had a date with a beautiful woman resembling Nao Asahi at a high-class sukiyaki restaurant. After leaving the restaurant, the two were strolling around the city at night while talking. Later, we directly interviewed Iguchi when they were together. The following is a recap of the details based on the article distributed on February 27 (ages and titles in the article are current at the time of publication).</p>
<p>One night in February, just as a warm spring breeze began to blow, a man was seen at a high-class sukiyaki restaurant in Shirokane (Minato-ku), which is frequented by celebrities. After paying the bill, the waiter went outside the restaurant to see him off. His face was clearly illuminated by the light leaking from inside the restaurant. It was Satoru Iguchi, 29, of King Gnu. As he left the store, Iguchi looked back and saw a beautiful woman who looked like Nao Asahi leaving the store. She had short-cut black hair and ran next to Iguchi as she left the store.</p>

<p><strong> Iguchi is now dating Ms. A, a former TV personality who has worked mainly in Kyushu. She is 27 years old, two years younger than Iguchi, and they started dating around last fall.<br>

<p><strong> She lives in Fukuoka Prefecture and is active in music as a DJ. She has been active as a local artist, performing at night clubs and at local mochi festivals. She also teaches DJ classes to children, teaching them how to use equipment and how to string songs together,&#8221; said an event company official.</strong></p>
<p>After leaving the restaurant, the two began strolling the night streets while talking. Iguchi (pictured below) gently entwines his arm with hers as they walk with their hands in their pockets. On the way, when they found a retro building, they stopped to admire it together. After a while, they started walking again and entered a narrow alley.</p>
<p><strong> Mr. A has actually been saving his work in Kyushu since the middle of this month. I think he is preparing to move to Tokyo and start living together with Iguchi. Ms. A has always been a good cook and a homebody. <p>Because of their long-distance relationship, the two can only see each other a few days a month. Iguchi used to share a house with a band member, but later started living alone. Shortly after, in April &#8217;20, FRIDAY reported that he was semi-living with &#8220;Ano&#8221;, a TV personality and singer.</p>
<p>Later that day, I found Iguchi and Ms. A in the streets of Tokyo. Had they come to see her off on her way back to Fukuoka? We interviewed Iguchi, who was at the peak of happiness, holding her carry-on case and cuddling with Mr. A.</p>

<p>Throughout the interview, Ms. A looked at Iguchi and smiled lovingly. Finally, Iguchi made a peace sign to the camera. She must have been smitten by the way he responded so openly to her sudden request for an interview. The day may soon come when they will start their new life together in Tokyo and Fukuoka, a distance of about 900 kilometers between the two cities.</p>

<p>On March 10, Iguchi&#8217;s first starring film, &#8220;Hitori bokuitai itai&#8221; (&#8220;I&#8217;m not alone&#8221;) was released. Iguchi plays Susume, a dentist who has trouble communicating with others, and her relationship with Miyako, who works at a massage parlor, is depicted in the film. According to director Chihiro Ito, the role of Susume was written based on Iguchi&#8217;s assumption for the film adaptation.</p>
<p>Director Ito says that Iguchi&#8217;s presence is a &#8220;quiet madness&#8221; and has praised her highly; &#8220;Side by Side: The People Next Door,&#8221; also directed by Chihiro Ito, will be released on April 14, and also features Iguchi. Iguchi&#8217;s talent as an actor has blossomed at once, and he is doing very well both in his private and public life.</p>
