They headed for Ginza. They got off in front of a building and took the elevator to a high-class Japanese restaurant.</p>
<p> It was two and a half hours after entering the restaurant when they finally came out. Next to Rurei as he stepped out of the elevator was, to his surprise, rakugo storyteller Tachikawa Danshun (56), who had just been at a rakugo performance.</p>

<p> Mr. Rurei was probably drunk and was being held by his daughter as he walked down the streets of Ginza. While waiting for his turn at the cab stand, he seemed to be in a good mood, smiling broadly as Danshun spoke to him. When he was seen off by Danjun and took a cab back to his luxury Tokyo apartment with his daughter, it was already around midnight.</p>
<p><strong> Rurei, a connoisseur of culture and the arts, is known for his deep knowledge of rakugo. He has been friends with Master Danchun for a long time, and on March 21, they had a conversation in the &#8220;Bungei Shunju e-Book&#8221; on the topic of &#8220;Shibahama and the Love of a Couple.
