 Ms. A, a woman in her 60s, was on the second floor of her house when she heard a suspicious noise, went downstairs, and was confronted by a group of men she did not know. The men strangled Ms. A. Ms. A was punched in the face, but she fought back desperately, kicking the men in the groin. However, when they blindfolded her with adhesive tape, they tied her hands and feet and beat her repeatedly.

 Shortly after 3:00 p.m. on March 13, several men broke the window glass of a house in Sumida-ku, Tokyo, and broke into the house. The interior of the house was ransacked, but no money or goods were taken.
 On March 15, the Metropolitan Police Department&#8217;s Investigation Division 1 arrested one of the suspects on suspicion of robbery and breaking and entering. He was a 19-year-old man living in Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture. The man partially denied the charges, saying, &#8216;I am sure that I entered a stranger&#8217;s house, but I did not hit or kick him.

 Mr. A., who is not expected to survive, was in a horrific condition and called out to neighbors for help.

 Several men broke into the house of a woman in her 60s who lived alone in Sumida-ku, Tokyo. They violently assaulted the woman and seriously injured her for about a month.
