Former member of “Sepia Issei Fuwai,” a performance group that took the world by storm in the 1980s with its call of “soiya soiya,” has died at his home in Tokyo at the age of 61. Toshiro Yanagiba (62), who was a member of the group, posted a two-shot photo of Nishimura on Instagram. He wrote, “Mae oshiro Nishimura-sama.

You (you) have been the best bad-mouthing friend I have ever had. Your pure heart was too dazzling for me.

I was too dazzled by your pure heart.

The parent group of Issei Yu Furyu Sepia is the male performance group “Gekio Otoko Issei Furyu” formed by the leaders of the “Takenoko Zoku” and “Roller Zoku” groups that became famous in Harajuku in the late 1970s and 1980s. In 1984, seven elite members, including Nishimura, Yanagiba, and Sho Aikawa (61), formed the group Issei Fuyu Sepia. That year, “Maeyoshi, Michi-no-ue yori” was used as the song for a scooter commercial, and the members appeared in the commercial, making their name known throughout Japan. The members also appeared in the commercial, making their name known nationwide. In 1987, the 15 members of “Gekio Otoko Issei Furyou” toured New York City. They performed at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, known as the “Hall of Fame of Black Music,” and also gave street performances in Times Square and Lincoln Center. The photo is a scene from that time. Mr. Nishimura can be seen in the center of the photo.

One of the purposes of the performances was to raise funds for the campaign to eradicate AIDS, which was spreading throughout the world at the time. All proceeds from the performance were donated to Hollywood actress Elizabeth Taylor’s foundation.

Another purpose of the campaign was to “better modern Japan and the world.

“We want to promote a better modern Japan to the world.

The concept of the show was to “express the conglomeration of traditional Japanese culture such as Kacho Fugetsu, Shunka Fu Fu Winter, Fu-Rin-Kazan, using Noh, Karate, Ninja, Taiko, and Shamisen.

The company’s first project was “The Kabuki Theater.

Two years later, in 1989, Issei Fuyo Sepia disbanded as Yanagiba and Aikawa became too busy acting and the other members had their own jobs as clothing designers and engineers, making it difficult for them to perform. Nishimura continued performing for a while and then worked as an employee at a restaurant. Yanagiba said

‘I’ll try a little harder over here. ….. Thank you ….. Until we meet again…JONY” and “JONY” which was Yanagiba’s nickname at the time.

Yanagiba said goodbye under the name “JONY,” which was his nickname at the time. We pray for Nishimura’s soulful rest.

After the breakup of Issei Furyu, Nishimura worked as an actor and then in a restaurant.
