How Fuji TV ‘s broadcaster Reina Osanai, “a rookie broadcaster from Aomori,” got a regular job
“Ticklish!
In late August, announcer Reina Osanai (25) was smiling in front of Fuji Television Network. Before her turn to give a weather report, she wiggled her hips and laughed for some reason, probably because she was tickled by a hair set by a male staff member. The camera crew was also laughing along with her. Her unpretentious personality is said to be the secret to her winning a regular position on Mezamashi TV in her first year with the company.
“Koyamauchi is from Aomori Prefecture and graduated from Hirosaki University. She was chosen for Mezamashi because of her simplicity. Many of the new announcers hired by Fuji Television want to become part of the Mezamashi family. However, they inevitably end up with the “Mezamashi” color, and their speech and facial expressions tend to be similar. For some time, there has been a concern that the program would become stale.
That’s why they chose Koyamauchi, who has no glare and no ‘color’ at all.
A Fuji TV producer also testified.
The producer of Fuji TV testified, “To begin with, ‘Mezamashi’ is not broadcasted in Aomori. The story that Shinichi Karube, 59, who was in charge of interviewing Koyamauchi, thought he was a ‘big shot’ is now a legend within the company (laughs). (laughs) In a good way, I don’t know anything about the TV industry at all. In fact, there was talk of making her a regular on Mezamashi even when she was hired.
Create a new trend in the world of female announcers!
