Tomohisa Yamashita in front of the “Summary Court” in Yokohama… Smiling and chatting in between shooting serious scenes.
FRIDAY Eyewitness! Harikomi24 Special <Yokohama 9:25>.
On a morning in late January, preparations were being made for a large-scale photo shoot in front of the Yokohama Summary Court. The man who appeared there was Tomohisa Yamashita (37). He was wearing a matching coat with the staff that read “SEE HEAR LOVE.
After a short break from filming, Yamashita smiled and chatted with the staff while many fans looked on.
On this day, we were filming the movie “SEE HEAR LOVE ~I Love You Even If You Can’t See or Hear Me~” starring Yamashita. It is a love story about a young man who has lost his eyesight, played by Yamashita, and a deaf heroine, played by Yuko Araki (29). The film is directed by Lee Jae-han, director of the Korean classic “Eraser in My Head,” and will be released on Prime Video this year,” said a source close to the film.
Yamashita walked slowly with a white cane in his hand and suddenly stopped, holding both ears with his hands and looking as if he was in pain. He collapsed in front of the courthouse and gave a ghoulishly passionate performance.
In between takes, he was seen chatting with the staff, showing his white teeth. Yamashita aspires to a global career and has tried his hand at foreign dramas. If he can gain recognition for his work with director Lee, of whom he has been a fan for some time, it will likely lead to a further leap forward.
