A scoop in the February 17 issue of &#8220;FRIDAY&#8221; (March 3-10) has become the talk of the town. It reported the love affair between Satoru Iguchi (29) of the rock band King Gnu and a woman with short-cut black hair.
 Mr. Iguchi is dating Ms. A, a former TV personality who has been active mainly in Kyushu. She is 27 years old, two years younger than Iguchi, and they started dating around last fall. 

 She lives in Fukuoka Prefecture and is active in music as a DJ. She has been active as a local artist, performing at night clubs and at local mochi festivals. She also teaches DJ classes to children, teaching them how to use equipment and how to string songs together,&#8221; said an event company official.

On a night in February of this year, the two had dinner at a high-class sukiyaki restaurant in Shirokane, Tokyo, which is frequented by celebrities. As they left the restaurant, Iguchi gently entwined her arms around Ms. A as they walked with her hands in her pockets. Later, when a reporter directly asked about their relationship, Iguchi proudly admitted that they were dating, saying, &#8220;Yes, we are.
Iguchi is not the only artist whose happy moment was caught by FRIDAY: May J. May J., who got her breakthrough with the theme song of the blockbuster movie &#8220;Anna and the Snow Queen,&#8221; announced her marriage on June 20, 2010, the same day as her partner&#8217;s birthday. Her partner is Shogen (44), a wild actor 10 years older than her. On her Instagram page, she wrote the following along with the announcement of her marriage.
 I will continue to make daily efforts to face music and grow as a person of expression.

The two are both international artists who perform on the world stage.
 May J., whose mother is from Iran, grew up in a multilingual family, and her English is as good as her native tongue. She attended an international school in Japan, where Thelma Aoyama is one year her senior and Hikaru Utada is five years her senior.
 Shogen also has a background of training in New York to step up as an actor. He is also active as a model in Europe. He has traveled to more than 40 countries as a backpacker.
FRIDAY&#8221; caught the two on a hand-holding date in June 2002, soon after they started dating. Let&#8217;s take a look back at that time.
That evening, May J. and Shogen were walking in Tokyo in a light rain. They were holding hands without an umbrella and did not seem to be bothered by the rain. Perhaps it was a bit chilly, but when they waited at a traffic light, Shogen hugged May J. and rubbed her back. About two hours prior to this, the two friendly people had met up at &#8230;&#8230;.
 The restaurant is called &#8220;Origin Bento. The aura was overwhelming, and at first glance I felt that they were not ordinary people. The woman was full of transparency. The man with long hair and sandals gave a wild impression.
The two bought some side dishes at a bento store. As they started walking with their umbrellas, May J. slipped her hand on Shogen&#8217;s right arm. May J. and Shogen then went to the gym to work out. Shogen was the one with whom she could be &#8220;just as she is.
Artists look different in front of their partners than they do on stage. There is no doubt that the support of her partner has increased her creativity.
