Taisuke Fujigaya of “Kis-My-Ft2” showed up in Marunouchi early in the morning in a “tight suit” while braving the cold.
FRIDAY Eyewitness News! Harikomi24 <Marunouchi, 7:10 a.m.
In front of Tokyo Station (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) in the early morning on a weekday, when commuters are still sparse, Taisuke Fujigaya (35) of “Kis-My-Ft2” arrived at the scene in a blue bench coat in the bitter cold in mid-January.
He was filming the drama “Hammeru Otoko ni Kicki ni Wojo” (TV Asahi), which was airing that day. Just before the cameras rolled, Fujigaya took off his bench coat and put on his costume of suit and business coat, and walked straight ahead with his back to Tokyo Station as extras playing passersby came and went. After a while, he stopped and filmed a scene in which he stared at the ground as if thinking about something.
As soon as the cut was called, a staff member rushed to the scene and handed Fujigaya a bench coat. Fujigaya must have been very cold, so he took a pocket warmer from his coat pocket and warmed his numb hands, neck, and ears by applying it to his neck and ears.
The main character played by Fujigaya in this film was on an elite career path, but was effectively restructured and resigned because of his boss’s antipathy toward him. He is in despair, his wife has abandoned him, and a friend introduces him to the caretaker of a boarding house, where he meets a slovenly female resident played by Nagisa Sekimizu (24) and falls in love with her.
The morning before the shoot, the film was shot on location at Hibiya Park, where Fujigaya and Akihiro Tabuchi (37) of the comedy duo Indians, who play the main character’s former classmates, appeared. Both men were in a friendly mood from start to finish, taking commentary shots for the promotional materials and chatting with the staff in between takes,” said a source close to the TV station.
However, the public mood surrounding Fujigaya has not been all that calm.
There are whispered rumors among fans that the next to leave Johnny’s may be Kismai,” said a TV station official. There are also rumors that Yuta Tamamori (32) is still in contact with Michi Iijima.
However, during a variety show broadcast in January, Fujigaya was asked by a viewer if he had ever thought about leaving the group. Fujigaya, who has been with Johnny’s for 24 years, the longest tenure of any member of the group, has quickly put to rest the notion that he is leaving the group.
Fujigaya has been very active, not only in dramas, but also in a movie he starred in, “And I’m at a loss. Kissmai member Wataru Yokoo (36) has just announced his marriage to a civilian woman. Will Fujigaya and the other members follow Yokoo’s lead and become marriage dominoes instead of exit dominoes? ……
