FRIDAY Eyewitness! Harikomi24 <Shiodome, 11:05
NTV in Shiodome (Minato-ku), where many celebrities come and go on a daily basis. Most of them enter through a dedicated entrance at the back of the building, but on a morning in early January, I witnessed an unexpected sight. Actress Sakura Ando, 36, was coming down the escalator, which is also used by the general public. Next to her was Kayo Noro (39).
In fact, this was a photo shoot for the on-air drama “Brush Up Life” (NTV). Written by Bakarhythm, it is a mysterious conversational drama that takes place in a local everyday scene, although it is a time leap story.
Ando plays the heroine who dies in an accident and lives a “second life. Her best friends are played by Natsuho (31) and Haruka Kiminami (37), and her junior colleague at work is played by Toruko Miura (26). Noro plays the heroine’s classmate.
Ando, who has mainly worked in films, plays the lead in a commercial drama series for the first time. She was attracted by Bakarhythm’s script and decided to appear in the drama.
The script by the “genius” and the humorous performances of the unique actresses are already attracting a lot of viewers. We can’t wait to see what happens next.
