<p>The drama &#8220;Yugure ni, Te wo Tsunagu&#8221; (TBS) just started on January 17. It is a coming-of-age love story featuring the heroine Suzu Hirose (24) and Ren Nagase (23) of King &amp; Prince.</p>
<p>I witnessed the location shooting at a park near Daiba, Tokyo, in the late afternoon on a cold windy day. Hirose, wearing a red checked jacket, was leaning against a fence with her back to the sea, her hands in her pockets as she slouched.</p>

<p>Facing her and talking to her is Yohei Kawakami (40), vocalist of the rock band Alexandros. Kawakami plays the son of the owner of the boarding house where the heroine lives.</p>
<p>The filming was difficult, as the sea wind constantly blewing her hair into a mess. During the break time, Hirose was rubbing her eyes sleepily.</p>

<p><strong> The heroine is from Kyushu, and Hirose has been working hard to master the dialect. Her intonation is also reputed to be perfect.</strong></p>
<p>Eriko Kitagawa, a master of love stories, wrote the script for this film. Will Hirose&#8217;s passionate performance also help to make the viewers&#8217; hearts pound faster?</p>
