 A young woman with a swollen face asked a passerby for help. The passerby immediately called 110. The man who had harmed the woman was a professional boxer with whom she had been dating.

 The suspect, Jun Suzuki, 32, a resident of Yachiyodaihigashi, was arrested on January 10 by the Yachiyo Police Station of the Chiba Prefectural Police on suspicion of inflicting injury. The suspect, who goes by the ring name &#8220;Ikemen Jun,&#8221; was active as a professional boxer.

In 18 fights, he has 7 wins (2 KOs), 9 losses, and 2 draws, and since November 2007, he has suffered 5 consecutive defeats and decided to temporarily retire in November 2009.
