Tao Tsuchiya announced her marriage and pregnancy with Ryota Katayose on January 1.

On January 1, Tao Tsuchiya (27) and Ryota Katayose (28), a member of “GENERATIONS from EXILE TRIBE,” announced their marriage, and Tsuchiya also revealed that she is expecting her first child. The two came close to each other quickly after their first collaboration in the 2017 movie “My Brother Loves Me Too Much.” They are said to have developed a relationship.

Tsuchiya started calling Katayose “big brother” after the filming of the movie, and it was known among those involved that they got closer behind the camera too, but I don’t think anyone realized that they were dating,” said a source involved in the movie production.

In fact, rumors that the two were dating had been circulating for about two years. But

“As some of the weekly magazines reported, they had set clear rules for their relationship, and when they met, they would meet at the home of one of them and never meet outside.”

(A friend who knew the couple). That is how cautious Tsuchiya was of the media.

Taking time out from her extremely busy schedule to improve herself at an esthetic salon

In October 2020, Tsuchiya took time out of her extremely busy schedule to visit a beauty salon and chat with the staff.

On a night in October 2020, Tsuchiya’s car took her to an esthetic salon in Minato Ward, where she spent two hours chatting with the staff who came to see her off. The waitress seemed to be very friendly as she folds the sleeves of Tsuchiya’s jacket to just the right length.

Going directly to the location of the movie “Daikaiju no Atoshimatsu” deep in the mountains

In February 2021, a car carrying Tsuchiya was found in Tokyo. The car took the expressway and headed for Tochigi prefecture. After exiting the highway, they went to a convenience store. Tsuchiya got out of the car, bought one yogurt, and returned to the car. From there, the car continued on the prefectural road and went deeper and deeper into the mountains. The car arrived at a large grassy field. It was the filming location for the movie “Daikaiju no Atoshimatsu,” which was released last February.

The film was supposed to start in March 2020 and finish at the end of April, but due to the COVID-19 crisis, the shooting was postponed.

Tsuchiya played the heroine, a former lover of the hero and secretary to the Minister of the Environment.

Since last March, Tsuchiya has starred in the much-talked-about April drama “Yangotte no Nakui Kazoku” (Fuji TV), and the film “Matching” starring Tsuchiya, scheduled for release this year, was cranked up at the end of October last year. With such an extremely busy schedule, there must have been no time at all for such a meeting even if they wanted to go out. This year, he will probably take his time to nurture time with his family of three.

In late October 2021, Tsuchiya came out of the stage greeting for the first day of the animated film “Let Me Hear You Sing”. She had a contented smile on her face.
