 There is a man called &#8220;God&#8221; in Kabukicho right now. He is Masaki Furuya, 33, host of FUYUTSUKI-PARTY/-KARMA/JP[W]1. The reason why Furuya is called a god is because of his extraordinary sales.
 Last year, my annual sales were 520 million yen. This is the highest amount of sales in the long history of host operators. After seven years in the host industry, I finally became a god (laughs).

 The book, &#8221; <a href="https://amzn.to/3iVxjq4" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Japan&#8217;s Most &#8216;Unlikable&#8217; Man&#8217;s Art of Selling Billions of Yen&#8221; (</a> Fusosha), published on December 2 this year, describes in detail how he earned 500 million yen and is attracting a lot of attention. In fact, Furuya has a unique career path, having started out as the president of a construction company before jumping into the world of hostesses.
 I was born in Tokyo, but soon moved to Ibaraki, where my mother&#8217;s family lived. I was born in Tokyo, but soon after we moved to Ibaraki, where my mother&#8217;s family lived. I was playing in the ocean by myself since I was a child. 
After graduating from junior high school, I worked for a construction company and started my own company when I was 23 years old. However, somewhere in my heart I always wondered if I could go on like this, so when I was 26, I decided to become a host.
 In the host business, he developed a thorough branding strategy based on the business know-how he had cultivated during his working years, and quickly rose to become the number one host.
 I did not use social networking services, which are essential tools for hosts to attract customers, and I dared not to appear in the media. Thanks to this, I was able to play the role of an enigmatic man who is known by those who know him in the host industry. But because I couldn&#8217;t do social networking, I put my life into face-to-face sales. I was on the move 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

 True to his words, a day in the life of Furuya is hard work. In the evening, he drives his Ferrari, the car he loves, to a general meeting as soon as he enters the restaurant where he serves as a producer. Even during business hours, he finds free time to consult with junior hosts.
 What is interesting is how he earned the 500 million yen, but Furuya himself says, &#8220;It was 80% luck.
 Last year was a year of opportunities. I had five basic clients last year, and four of them spent about 140 million yen. This is my ability. The rest of the money is one female customer. I can only say that it was my luck that I was able to grab this person. But I had been preparing for a long time so that I would be ready to grab it whenever luck came my way.&#8221;
 In addition to serving customers as a cast member, Furuya is currently extremely busy producing the three Fuyutsuki Group restaurants to which she belongs. The rapid progress of the man who has become a &#8220;god&#8221; seems to be continuing.
