 The 73rd annual NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen (Red and White Singing Contest) will be held on New Year&#8217;s Eve again this year. There will be plenty to talk about. Keisuke Kuwata (66) will participate in the special program with his classmates&#8217; band &#8220;Keisuke Kuwata feat. Yumi Matsutoya (68) will &#8220;perform with&#8221; Yumi Arai, using AI technology to bring back to life her voice from her days as Yumi Arai.
 The participating artists are all well-known and talented. Let us introduce the charms of the famous singers with &#8220;happy date&#8221; photos caught by &#8220;FRIDAY.

 Perfume, a three-member techno-pop unit, is making its 15th Kohaku appearance. It was in June 2004 that I caught Ayaka Nishiwaki (33), aka &#8220;A-chan,&#8221; on a date.
