Ishii was arrested for the sixth time.

This is the sixth time Ishii has been arrested.

The suspect is Yoko Ishii, 55, who allegedly killed the 5-year-old son of Chika Kakimoto, 31, who lived with her in January of this year, and buried his body on her property. Ishii has been indicted on charges of manslaughter, abandonment of a corpse, and assault. Along with Ishii, another suspect, Hiroki Niwa, 35, with whom he was in a common-law relationship, was also re-arrested.

Ishii was first arrested in March of this year. The three suspects, Niwa and Kakimoto, who lived together, allegedly buried the body of a 5-year-old child under the floor of their home in Honjo City, Saitama Prefecture. Kakimoto, a single mother, moved in with both suspects last April. Together with the boy, the four of them began living together.

There had been suspicions of abuse for some time. In September of last year, a restaurant in the city contacted city hall. Whenever the boy comes to the restaurant, the man scolds him severely. He is not given any food and sits on his knees. A woman, who appeared to be the boy’s mother, was taking pictures of the situation with her smartphone. The city met with Kakimoto. She explained that she had been warned by a man who lived with her because she wouldn’t listen to him,” said a reporter from a national newspaper.

The 5-year-old child is believed to have died after being assaulted by her mother and others. The police investigation and others suspected Ishii’s brainwashing.

He would listen intently to people in trouble and gain their trust. After that, he would tell them that he was wealthy and blessed and that he had the ability to make them happy, and manipulate them into doing what he wanted. Some of them are said to have been asked for large sums of money. There are a number of people around Ishii who have gone missing.

He has not been seen for 5-6 years. ……

These words became reality in March of this year. In the course of investigating the boys, the body of an elderly woman was found under the floor, several years after her death.

According to the results of DNA analysis, she is believed to be Ishii’s mother-in-law.

According to neighbors, the woman, who is believed to be the mother-in-law, appeared to have been abused by Ishii. She said, “I’m going to be killed! I’m locked in the closet! She was often seen running away barefoot, screaming, “I’m going to be killed! On one occasion, a resident reportedly called the police when he saw Ishii riding his bicycle in an unusual manner in search of his mother-in-law. The suspect Ishii said, ‘I have dementia and try not to wander around. He said that he had not seen his mother-in-law for five to six years.

Ishii was arrested for the sixth time on October 4, and his crime was related to his mother-in-law, who was found dead. Ishii pretended that her mother-in-law was still alive and fraudulently received her pension. When the Saitama Prefectural Police’s Investigation Section 1 examined transactions at financial institutions and the Pension Bureau of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, they found that Ishii had used a cash card in his mother-in-law’s name to withdraw pension benefits.

He withdrew the money on 13 separate occasions between February 2008 and February of this year. He is also suspected of having cheated his mother-in-law out of 140,000 yen by claiming pensioner support benefits in her name.

The prefectural police are investigating the detailed use of the nearly 6 million yen in illegal money received by the Ishii suspects.
