 The Prime Minister&#8217;s Husband&#8221; is a live-action adaptation of a novel by author Macha Harada. It is a comedy about a wife who becomes the first prime minister of Japan and her husband who is at the mercy of her. Nakatani played the role of Rinko Soma, the first woman to become prime minister.
 The &#8220;Soma administration&#8221; in the opening speech is a reference to her role. Tanaka played the role of Nakatani&#8217;s husband and Kanjiya played the role of the woman in charge of public relations for the cabinet.
