Opposition to “Signing of criminal charges against Kayo” gains momentum just before Mako’s wedding
But how much longer will the hardship continue? As the marriage of Mako and Kei Komuro, the eldest daughter of the Akishino family, enters the “countdown” phase, those who are “not satisfied with the marriage” are beginning to take action in various fields.
Mr. Kyo, an “imperialist YouTuber,” organized a nationwide march against the marriage of Princess Mako and Mr. Komuro. On October 10, he marched through the streets of Ginza and Yurakucho on a Sunday afternoon.
The march consisted of about 100 people, and was held under tight security by the police. Because of the Corona disaster, they did not raise their voices, but played the protest audio on speakers.
Some people were seen holding placards calling for an explanation of the allegations against Ms. Komuro’s mother, Kayo, and for an end to the farcical press conference.
Mr. Kyo also posted a video in which he went to the Cabinet Office to submit a signature against the marriage…. In it, he says
In the video, he says, “Since the Imperial Household Agency has refused to accept the signatures, I will hand them over to the Prime Minister. At this point, we have 3,598 signatures. Please look it over.
He appealed to the staff who came out, told them the contents and handed them over.
Journalist Soichiro Shinohara also revealed on his YouTube channel that he had filed a criminal complaint against Kayo Komuro with the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office for “fraud” in connection with her fraudulent receipt of a survivor’s pension and injury and illness benefits.
“The criminal complaint has only been filed, and it is unclear whether it will be accepted and an investigation will be launched. However, the fact that a criminal complaint has been filed has come to light. Who could have predicted that it would be so difficult…. I don’t know if the demonstrations and signatures will be effective, but the damage to the Imperial Family is not small. The fact that there are more than a few people who think that forcing the couple to get married and move to New York without resolving the suspicions is premature has been made visible…” (Imperial Household Journalist)
(Imperial Household Journalist) On the other hand, Princess Mako is pained by this criticism and is said to be suffering from “complex PTSD. At a press conference held by the Imperial Household Agency, Mako said, “If the slander and criticism stop, the situation will improve,” but even a doctor has appeared on the scene to argue that “complex PTSD is not that simple.
The press conference between Princess Mako and Mr. Komuro will be held at a public facility, but the Imperial Household Agency has announced that it will “support” the meeting.
“There is a strong possibility that the press conference will be held at a hotel with close ties to the Imperial Family. But it will be easier and safer to hold the press conference inside the Imperial Household Agency, since there will be no ordinary people present. If the press conference were to be held at a public facility, the police and public safety officials would be mobilized in the city to provide security, which would be contrary to the statement of intent to not use taxpayer money, and would probably have the opposite effect.
There are only 15 days left until the wedding. With only 15 days left until the wedding, I wonder if these questions will be explained at the press conference…
