Tight Wear Suits Well…The “Ability and Beauty” of Korean Women Golfers’ “Public Relations Models
The professional golf tour is now underway across the sea. The lineup ranges from last season's prize money queen to promising newcomers who boast popularity on par with idols!
The brilliant battle of the “Tsuyokawa” golfers has begun even over seas.
On April 4, the Korean women’s professional golf tournament began. The 12 “PR Models,” who are the faces of women’s golf, have been the focus of much attention from fans.
The “PR Models” are selected from fan votes and other criteria for players who regularly compete on the first division tours. They represent the golf world by being featured in publicity magazines and on merchandise, and are the titles of top professionals who are both popular and talented,” said sportswriter Myung-Woo Kim.
This year, publicity models were shown in vivid dresses. Park Gyeol (28), with her outstanding style, wore a sheer dark blue dress.
She is 167 cm tall with slender arms and legs, and has been called a “real Barbie doll. This season, she is aiming for her second win. Park Hyun-kyung (24), who boasts a cute smile and is so popular that a fan club has been formed, also attracted attention in her dress. She and her father, who serves as her caddie, won the tournament for the fourth time last year.
The 21-year-old Lee Ye-Won is captivating her fans with her overwhelming ability. Last season, she won three major titles, including MVP of the year, in addition to the prize money queen title. Other noteworthy players include Kim Jae-hee (23), who has previously won the money queen title on the lower tours.
If we focus our attention not only on Japan but also on the successes of these women, we will be able to enjoy the game of golf even more.
